Shenmore Cottage sits nestled in the beautiful Golden Valley between Hereford and Hay-on-Wye. The original part of the cottage dates back to 1860 when it was the home of the local wheelwright, and it was subsequently extended.

We have two comfortable en-suite guestrooms available, and offer Full English Aga-cooked breakfasts at a time to suit you.We are also able to offer a home-cooked Evening Meal from our extensive seasonal menus.

There is ample parking and you are very welcome to take a walk around the gardens with its large pond and island, take tea and cake on the terrace overlooking the pond, or pay a visit to our two pygmy goats Ellie and Fern, who are always glad to get visitors!
